Hello Amazing Kids!

My name is Alex and I am from Kalamata. In kalamata I know an amazing kid who is my friend. His name is Nick. This kid likes animals. But his favourite animals are birds. He can even feed wild birds!!

The Hurriance

        The hurricane is a natural phenomenon. Usually hurricanes happen in America.
It can destroy a whole town and a lot of things like it. It can break down a tree, a house, a car and can it kill animals. It is very dangerous. If a hurricane approaches the city we must go. It sometimes happens even in Greece. We must find ways to protect ourselves from hurricane.

The Akropolis

            The Parthenon is the eyes of the past . It is one massive  building in the center of Athens. It is on top of a rock. People visit it because it is two and a half thousand years old.
            Near the Parthenon is the museum of the Akropolis. It has got thousands of statues.Under the museum there is the city of Athens. There are glass floors in the museum and you can see a lot of things underground. On the fifth floor there is glass all around and you get scared. In the first  floor there is a small cinema where you can get informed about the history of the Parthenon.
It's really great. I think we must all visit it.

Zakynthos

     The island of Zakynthos is one of the most famous in our country. It is in the west parts of Greece.
You can see a lot of  interesting places, the most famous of which is the beach Navagio that means   Shipwreck.You can also see the caretta-caretta sea turtle.
There are great hotels too.They have special  pools for children. There is also an island which you can visit by boat, Marathonisi. It is a very nice day trip. There is also a spectacular sea park. It is the best  place for holidays for children.
       I recommend a holiday in Zakynthos because it is wonderful place.

I am Vicky!

I am Vicky and this is my first  post in my class blog.

Let me tell you something  about  me. I am 12 years old. I am a student  of 10th Elementary School  of Kalamata. 
My   favourite   subjects are Physical Education , Maths, English and French. My favourite hobbies are volley and basketball. As for the food I love spaghetti, souvlaki  and potatoes. 
My best friend  is Anastasia. Her favourite subject is Geography. She likes playing volleyball and football. I love Anastasia very much . In summer  we go to the sea, together with my parents and her parents.

This is all about  me.
